About The Wine
Spinning Plates Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 in a brand-new addition to the enviable Vice Versa porfolio.
Spinning Plates is a masterful blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from two vineyards: True Dog is in southwest Oakville, bordering Vine Hill Ranch and overlooked by Harlan Estate. Sleeping Lady is one of the most sought after sites among Napa's top winemakers, and sits against the Mayacamas Mountains in the far southwest of Yountville. A dash of Cabernet Franc comes from the prized vines of the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard.
Napa Cabs of this pedigree for under £125 are like gold dust. Patrice's characteristic style has garnered multiple 100-point socores, and Spinning Plates is an essential for the vintage.
This inaugural release is wrapped in a stunning new label that was specially commissioned to Montreal street artist 'Tone', adding to Vice Versa's striking blend of art and wine. It was commissioned. The label artwork represents the synthesis of art, culture, and history - all elements that inspired Patrice in his winemaking journey.
Vice Versa Spinning Plates Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
"Our (inaugural) 2019 Spinning Plates offers a kaleidoscope of ripe cassis and blackberries, black licorice, spice, and tobacco leaf. Seamless with abundant soft tannins, this seductive, pliant, full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon also delivers impeccable freshness, balance, and a long silky finish."
