About The Wine
While 2014 was an overall dry growing season, a small amount of rain in late February provided just enough soil moisture for the early growing season. A warm spring and summer led to small clusters and berries, resulting in highly concentrated flavours.
Harvest was on 15th August, 2015, and it was aged for 11 months in 30% new and 70% neutral French oak.
Founded by Larry Hyde in 1979, Hyde Vineyards is located in the heart of Napa Valley's Carneros region. Hyde Vineyards has long been hailed a grand cru-caliber site primarily known for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit, used by some of the most highly acclaimed wine producers in Napa and Sonoma. In 2009, Larry decided to debut his own small-lot production Pinot Noir project and today, the Hyde Estate Winery sits looking out onto the acclaimed vineyards near the Carneros Highway corridor surrounded by 25 acres planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

"The nose is elegant and complex with aromas of orange blossom, green apple and stone fruit. Mouthwatering acidity highlights flavors of peach, honeysuckle and herbal notes giving way to a lingering finish."
