2018 Larry Hyde Vineyard Estate, Chardonnay, Los Carneros 1x75cl

RP95+
*Blend: 100% Chardonnay *Vintage production: 450 cases *Larry Hyde is the King of Chardonnay growers in California. His fruit is hand-selected by the very best producers for their single vineyard... bottlings: Mark Aubert, Steve Kistler, David Ramey and Aubert de Villaine (Hyde de Villaine & Domaine de La Romanée Conti), to name just a few. In 1979, Larry planted the legendary Hyde Vineyard in Los Carneros, Napa's coolest-climate, and quickly built his reputation as one of the finest growers in California. A Chardonnay with 'Hyde Vineyard' on the label is of an assured 'Grand Cru' level, yet the story gets even more compelling. In 2005, Larry took the leap from grower to winemaker and planted his family's new Estate Vineyard, described by Mark Aubert as “Where Burgundy meets California” – a brilliant summation of the Larry Hyde 'Hyde Vineyard Estate' Chardonnay produced from this remarkable site.

2023 Cliff Lede, Rhythm Cabernet Sauvignon, Stags Leap District 1x75cl

JS96TWP96VM96
*Blend: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 1% Merlot *Vintage production: 2,786 cases *The Rhythm Vineyard is located on the subtle slopes of Cliff Lede's Stags Leap District Estate. Defined... by two large hills at its southern border, this vineyard surrounds the winery and reaches west toward the Napa River. The Rhythm Vineyard’s soil is composed of gravelly loam of varying depths and rock content. The incredibly diverse soil profile enables us to farm several small blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon and additional Bordeaux varieties with unique combinations of clonal selections and rootstocks. A healthy and generous winter rainfall season returned to Napa in 2023. A frost-free and uniform bud break was followed by steady spring weather during flowering, allowing for an even and generous fruit set. Summer conditions were moderate, with foggy mornings and cool nights, ideal for slow and steady grape maturation. The wines show exceptional balance with concentrated, ripe fruit complemented by bright acidity and supple, yet profound, structure. Optimal ripeness was achieved thanks to an early autumn of consistently warm days. The pristine ripening conditions allowed intense fruit flavour concentration. In the cool darkness of night, grapes were hand-picked into small twenty-five pound bins to minimize crushing. By early morning, the grapes were subjected to rigorous selection by a three-tiered sorting process which includes a cutting-edge optical sorter, and a slow, individual berry hand sort. The fruit was gently gravity delivered to small tanks by a unique crane system which kept the berries intact. Cold soaks lasted from five to eight days, and fermentations were managed through a combination of pump overs and délestage. Extended maceration of up to six weeks ensured exceptional extraction and fine-tuning of tannin profiles. This wine underwent twenty-one months of élevage in French oak barrels, 83% of which were new.

2021 Unwritten, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 1x75cl

JD97
*Blend: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon *Vintage production: 115 cases *Unwritten is a true insider's secret, known only to those with an inside track, this gorgeous Cabernet is a unique marriage of... Oakville and Howell Mountain 'Grand Cru' Vineyards. The inaugural 2014 vintage was an instant sell-out, taking pride of place on the lists of two Napa culinary institutions: The French Laundry, and Press. It has since become one of the hottest tickets in Napa. The 2021 Unwritten Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of two prestigious vineyards from two distinct appellations: David Abreu's legendary Las Posadas Vineyard near the top of Howell Mountain, and the historic Oakville Station Vineyard on the slopes of western Oakville, where it's surrounded by Mondavi and Opus One's To Kalon holdings, and Heitz's Martha's Vineyard. The wine is a masterclass in counterpoint: the mountain fruit brings waves of density and structure while the valley floor fruit imbues the lush power that stitches the complex elements together. The fruit for the 2021 was harvested in Oakville on 20th September, and Las Posadas between 27th September and 4th October. The wine spent 23 months in 80% new French oak (Darnajou and Taransaud) prior to bottling on 21st August, 2023.

2016 Unwritten, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 1x75cl

*Blend: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon *Vintage production: 103 cases *Unwritten is a true insider's secret, known only to those with an inside track. The inaugural 2014 vintage was an instant sell-out,... taking pride of place on the lists of two Napa culinary institutions: The French Laundry, and Press. It has since become one of the hottest tickets in Napa. The fruit for this remarkable Cabernet comes from the historic Lewelling Vineyard in the western foothills of Napa's famed Saint Helena AVA, a stones throw from the Beckstoffer Dr Crane, Spottswoode and Abreu Madrona Ranch vineyards - the A-list neighbourhood. This is a Cabernet that ticks all the boxes: perfect bottle age from an epic vintage, drinking beautifully now, rare as hen's teeth, poured at one of the greatest 3* restaurants in the world. Four Corners Wine: "A model 2016 Cab with the elegance, purity and focus that shine through in the best wines of the vintage. Aromas of graphite, fresh cedar shavings and a light-roasted coffee note frame the delicious core of cassis and blackcurrant. The palate is so well balanced, showing the classic lift and energy of western St. Helena. The crisp, layered blackcurrant fruit is supported by crisp red berries, star anise and a ferrous note that wraps it all together beautifully, leading to a long finish. The Unwritten has a real touch of class and impresses through-and-through, and will deliver the goods for 15+ years."

2023 Fait Main, Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 6x75cl

DE99JD100
*Blend: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon *Vintage production: 350 cases *The Fait-Main Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 is a modern-day icon, and for our tastes is one of the best... Cabernets to date from this remarkable site in western St. Helena. Located at the foot of Spring Mountain in St. Helena, the Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard marks the first site ever produced by Fait-Main. The foreign outcrop of stony, tough soil in the middle of a typically soft and rich valley floor, presents more like Bordeaux than St. Helena. For French-born winemaker Benoit Touquette, it was this connection to home that inspired him to create his own label. “I never felt compelled to make my own wine until I visited Las Piedras Vineyard. It felt like coming home.” Tracing its roots back to the original Mexican land grants, Las Piedras vineyard is thought to be the first planted in what is now the St. Helena AVA. Farm workers aptly named the vineyard Las Piedras, which translates to the stones in Spanish. The richly layered palate that each vintage has expressed thus far, shows the site’s compelling interplay of fruit and structure, bound together with graceful minerality. It boasts the same rocky terroir as its famous neighbour, Dr. Crane, but is emerging to produce even more concentrated and mineral-driven Cabs. There are a small handful of winemakers who are granted access to this hallowed terroir and Benoit is right at the forefront. BENOIT ON THE NEW BOTTLES (from 2023): “Every bottle tells a story. In 2010, my friend Mario Sculatti gifted me an antique bottle recovered from a shipwreck — a very old glass bottle, weathered and pitted with time and the sea, told a silent story of heritage and craftsmanship. As soon as I picked it up, I realized this was a piece of history: an enduring memento from an ill-fated 19th century voyage, from Pauillac in Bordeaux. I was struck by its extraordinary elegance and charisma, and the artistry of its hand-blown mastery. I took the bottle home, and had it examined, using MRI technology, in a hospital, to map its graceful curves and contours, and discovering that it contained just 700mL, rather than our standard 750mL. In 2013, I decided to try to replicate its striking shape in a handblown bottle for Fait-Main, using the unique skills of a Bay Area glassblower—honoring the craftsmanship of the past with that of today—but I was unsuccessful due to variations in the bottle’s neck and body shape. That single moment sparked an obsession. In early 2021, I set out to create a bottle that honored both tradition and innovation—a vessel as distinctive as the wine it would hold. The process was anything but simple. Perfecting the weight, proportions, and structure demanded precision, patience, and countless revisions. But after years of refinement, I arrived at something truly extraordinary: a custom-molded bottle that embodies the essence of Fait-Main. This is more than just a container; it’s a tribute to craftsmanship, legacy, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. A story etched in glass, carrying forward the spirit of tradition—just like that shipwrecked relic that first sparked my imagination.” BENOIT ON THE NEW LABELS (from 2023): "With this exceptional vintage, we are thrilled to unveil our latest collaboration with the renowned painter, Hunt Slonem. His extraordinary artistry has inspired a series of beautiful bespoke labels for our newest Fait-Main releases. These captivating, specially commissioned designs will grace our single-vineyard wines this year, reflecting our deep commitment to craftsmanship and authenticity. My vision for custom-crafted Fait-Main wine bottles wouldn’t be complete without them, and we can not wait for you to experience our interpretation of handmade excellence. Slonem is an American artist renowned for his colorful depictions of butterflies, birds, and – most famously – bunnies. His work is featured in the permanent collections of museums around the world, from the Miró Museum in Barcelona to the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, to the Guggenheim, Whitney and Metropolitan Museums in New York. Slonem’s bunny paintings have captured my imagination since the moment I first discovered them. With vibrant colors and endearing expressions, they radiate joy and playfulness in a way I find irresistible. The rabbit’s symbolism as an image of creativity, fertility and abundance seems to me to be a perfect match for wine, itself a symbol of celebrations, togetherness, and the delicious pleasure of good living. Slonem’s signature repetition of shapes also reminds me of the diligence and discipline required in winemaking, where we engage our skill and craftsmanship year after year to achieve a transcendent result. I commissioned this bespoke Slonem label for Fait-Main’s new single-vineyard wines to reflect both the quality and craftsmanship of what’s in the bottle, and the sense of creative fun and festivity I want to share with my wines. I hope this special edition label brings you as much joy as it does to me."

2016 Dana Estates, ONDA Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 6x75cl

JD95JS96
*Blend: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 1% Petit Verdot *Vintage production: 1,275 cases ONDA is a wine made in the Bordeaux tradition, blending both varietals and vineyards together to create a... synergy from our estate sites. The team at DANA has been making this wine since 2005, experimenting by blending fruit from Helms, Hershey, Lotus and the fourth estate vineyard, Crystal Springs. A bit softer than the single vineyard wines, ONDA is characterized by wonderful fruit purity, elegance and precision. It drinks beautifully upon release but will age gracefully for 10-15 years with appropriate storage. The 2016 vintage allowed head winemaker, Chris Cooney to reflect upon crafting the DANA wines and the full tenure of the winery. In their combined efforts, Philippe Melka and Chris further concentrated on vineyard expression and refined farming practices. The anticipation of the vintage allowed for proper planning and execution of an early harvest of phenomenal quality. Dana's philosophy of minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery has resulted in a slow progression to dry farming. This forces the vines to look deeper for water, but also for nutrients and minerals. The results are balanced vines that produce small intensely flavoured berries with thick darkly coloured skins. The 2016 season started with the soil full of water giving the vines a respite from 3 years of drought. The season started with a warm April and May which promoted rapid shoot growth with no water limitations. This established healthy canopies early in the season. A little extra work was done to keep dappled light in the fruit zone open which is critical for tannin development. Crystal Springs forms the core of the 2016 ONDA blend (68% Crystal Springs Vineyard, 18% Hershey Vineyard, 11% Lotus Vineyard, 3% Helms Vineyard). Harvest at Crystal started on September 15th with the rockier soils on the south side of the vineyard. The team finished with 8 days later with the slightly cooler, heavier soils. About a week later the Merlot at Hershey was ready. A few days after, at the end of September they picked the north corner of Lotus Cabernet Sauvignon and the Petit Verdot. The following day on October 1st we picked a portion of Helms. The last picks of Hershey Cabernet Sauvignon occurred on October 12th. The Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in equal portions of oak and concrete tanks. The Merlot was fermented in stainless steel and the Petite Verdot in 225L French oak barrels. The wines were pressed directly to barrels, and malolactic was native.

2020 Torrin, Akasha, Paso Robles 1x75cl

JS95VM93+
*Blend: 95% Syrah, 5% Grenache *Vintage production: 336 cases *Syrah is remarkable in its ability to produce truly exceptional wines in a variety of growing areas around the world. These wine can be... incredibly different, but give fans of Syrah an array of styles to seek out and enjoy. Torrin has found that in small pockets along the Central Coast they hit what they would classify and a near perfect balance among those styles. The team seeks out the coolest pockets in what may otherwise be considered warm regions, matching them with cooler aspects and limestone soils. These unique growing pockets result in a wine that harnesses the aromatic expressions and linear freshness of Syrah from cooler climates and marries them with the density and enticing textural opulence of Syrah from warmer regions. The Syrah was sourced form the Fulldraw, Bien Nacido, and G2 Vineyards, with the Grenache also coming from G2. Once fruit is harvested and sorted it rest in the cold room for roughly 5 days before native yeast conduct the primary fermentation. Following 4 – 5 weeks on skins using only punch downs for cap management, lots were gently basket pressed and aged on lees in 300L French Oak barrels of which roughly 70 percent were new for 22 months. The wine was then blended and bottled unfined and unfiltered and aged for an additional 14 months prior to release. While all Torrin wines are built to age gracefully in the cellar for years to come, the 2020 vintage provides an opportunity to enjoy the wines with confidence in their youth.

2020 Torrin, Tsundere Red, Paso Robles 1x75cl

JS95VM94
*Blend: 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Syrah, 15% Petite Verdot *Vintage production: 320 cases *The 2020 Tsundere once again brings together Bordeaux and Rhone Varietals in a showcase that highlights... the incredible diversity of west Paso Robles. With Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot representing the cooler Willow Creek District (Denner Vineyard) and Syrah from a warmer high elevation site in the Adeldaida District (Hawk's Hill), the textural differences in the tannin structure of these wines provides considerable depth and intrigue across the palate. Blackberry, plum, Cassis, and Violets from the Bordeaux varietals are supported by Blueberry, liquorice, baking spices and savoury undertones from the Syrah creating multiple layers of intrigue as the wine unfolds in the glass. A portion of the Cabernet was co-fermented with the Petit Verdot with the balance of the Cabernet and the Syrah were fermented and aged on their own. Once again utilizing native yeast to complete the fermentations, cap management consisted of punch downs with a single delestage per lot throughout the 4-5 week process. The lots were then basket pressed and aged in 300L French Oak barrels, of which 90% were new, for 22 months. With an additional 12 months in bottle prior to release the subtle nuances of this wine begin to unfurl. While this wine is generally one that requires time, the 2020 vintage is showing remarkably well in its youth.

2020 Torrin, The Maven, Paso Robles 1x75cl

VM92
*Blend: 95% Grenache, 5% Syrah *Vintage production: 320 cases *Grenache as a varietal, has remarkable breadth of stylistic expression. It can be bright and vibrant showing off its abundance of red... fruits. It can also harness more of a savoury, earthy and spicy energy and depth. When these styles intersect and exist harmoniously, Grenache is at its most intriguing. The 2020 Maven navigates this intersection of characters beautifully, managing to showcase considerable complexity in a surprisingly approachable framework. The Grenache was sourced from the Fulldraw and G2 Vineyards, with Paderewski Vineyard used for the Syrah. Once the grapes have been harvested, sorted and de-stemmed, they rest in the cold room for a few days. This is followed by a long slow fermentation that takes place utilising only native yeast. Gentle punch downs are done throughout the 3 to 4 week fermentation. At dryness the lots were basket pressed to 300L French Oak barrels of which 60% were new to complete ML. The wine remains on its lees for the duration of its 20 months of barrel aging. The wine was then blended, bottled unfined and unfiltered and aged for an additional 10 months before release. The warm 2020 vintage delivered wines that are remarkably inviting today. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy some Torrin wines in their youth.

2020 Torrin, Le Devoir, Paso Robles 1x75cl

VM94
*Blend: 75% Syrah, 25% Graciano *Vintage production: 332 Cases *In just a handful of vintages, Le Devoir has established itself as one of Torrin's most sought-after wines. A blend that showcases the... depth and richness of Syrah alongside the freshness and intrigue of the Spanish variety Graciano, it is a wine defined as much by its texture as by its aromatics. The 2020 vintage offers layers of savoury complexity alongside notes of berry cobbler, plum, fig and liquorice. While the aromatic profile is captivating, it is the wine's remarkably plush, enveloping palate that leaves the greatest impression. Syrah from Hawk's Hill in the Adelaida District forms the foundation of the blend, while Graciano from the G2 Vineyard in the Willow Creek District contributes structure, energy and lift. The grapes were destemmed, carefully sorted and cold-soaked for five days before a slow, four-week native yeast fermentation. Following gentle basket pressing, the wine was aged on its lees for 20 months in 300-litre French oak barrels, 57% of which were new, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. An additional ten months of bottle ageing prior to release has allowed the wine to integrate seamlessly. Reflecting the warmth of the vintage, the 2020 Le Devoir is approachable in its youth, combining immediate appeal with the concentration and balance to reward further cellaring.

JD98
*Blend: 44% Grenache, 19% Mataro, 18% Graciano, 14% Syrah, 5% Carignan *Vintage production: 990 cases *G2 Vineyard is an ultra-premium vineyard in the Paso Robles Willow Creek AVA. It is located on... 36 hectares of hills on Las Tablas Willow Creek Road, a stone’s throw from the renowned James Berry, Booker, and L’Aventure vineyards. Owners Bill and Debbie Gibbs have re-purposed the property for low yield farming of high quality Rhône varietals. The prior owners (Gravity Hills, VZZ) had farmed for high yields and lower quality grapes. Bill turned to Justin Smith for assistance in selecting this new property. It comes as no surprise that Saxum is the largest customer of G2 Vineyard. Many of the blocks at G2 are among the steepest slopes being farmed in Paso Robles. Perhaps it is this steepness that lead to her name, G2. Mountain climbers will recognize G2 as the nickname for Gasherbrum II, a neighbour of the more famous K2. Or maybe it is simply the second vineyard owned by the Gibbs'. Regardless, it is not the name, but the grapes that are exciting.

2023 The Royal Nonesuch Farm, Red, York Mountain 12x75cl

JD96JS96TWP95VM95
*Blend: 67% Grenache, 19% Syrah, 12% Graciano, 2% Clairette Blanche *Vintage production: 440 cases *Bordering the western reaches of Paso Robles, the historic York Mountain AVA is home to the... critically acclaimed (and brilliantly named) Royal Nonesuch Farm. Here, owner and winemaker Anthony Yount is dedicated to making singular wines from this serene 3 hectare seven-acre vineyard at around 500m above sea level. Yet it's so much more than just vines: it is where three-generations of the Yount Family live and play; where they raise live-stock and grow fruits and vegetables. It's an oasis for flora and fauna, and this natural energy is reflected beautifully in wines. York Mountain is just 8 miles from the coastline, which provides a cooler climate and enough rain to mean the Estate can be dry-farmed year round. The thin soils sit on top of a wealth of limestone and chalk, framing Anthony's graceful reds with a shimmering vibrancy. Anthony makes three stunning reds on the Estate: the Royal Nonesuch Red is a fabulous blend that showcases fruit from across the vineyard, while the Hokum and Spine are pure varietals (Grenache and Syrah respectively). Considering how little is produced (440 of the Red and less than 100 each of the Hokum and Spine), and the excellent write-ups from Jeb Dunnuck, they represent incredible value.

2023 Linne Calodo, Nemesis, Paso Robles 1x75cl

JD98TWP97
*Blend: 84% Syrah, 12% Grenache, 4% Mourvèdre *Vintage production: 350 cases *In the words of Winemaker, Matt Trevisan: “When I first started Linne Calodo, people kept asking me why I didn’t... make a stand-alone Syrah. I began to see this question as my nemesis. Why were varietal wines still considered superior to blends? Why underestimate the complementary power of Grenache and Mourvèdre? So I created this wine called Nemesis, which is ironically all about grapes getting along.” The Nemesis comes predominantly from the Bandit Syrah and Backside Syrah blocks at the Estate Stonethrower Vineyard, complemented by Grenache from Stonethrower Vineyard and Mourvèdre from the main Linne Calodo Estate. Stonethrower Vineyard is located just 11.3 miles from the ocean at elevations reaching 411 metres. The Syrah here delivers a mix of high-toned fruit and meaty richness, while the Grenache brings a splash of fruit-forward acidity to the blend. The Mourvèdre from the Linne Calodo estate rounds out the wine with a firm tannin structure. The fruit was pressed into oak puncheons and small French oak barriques. The blend assembled in March following harvest and returned to large format puncheons and 228-liter and 265-liter French oak barrels (30% total new oak) for maturation. Total aging: 13 months.

2020 Lagom, Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara County 1x75cl

JS94
*Blend: 100% Pinot Noir *Vintage production: 155 cases *The 2020 Lagom Pinot Noir is a blend of two of the Santa Maria Valley's most celebrated vineyard sites: Bien Nacido and Solomon Hills.... Combined in equal parts, the vineyards complement one another beautifully, creating a wine of considerable depth, complexity and elegance. Bien Nacido, located on the eastern side of the appellation, is planted on gravelly loam and chalk soils, contributing structure, precision and darker-fruited characteristics alongside earthy undertones and wild floral notes. Solomon Hills, situated on the western edge of the Santa Maria Valley, brings aromatic lift, vibrant red fruit character, dried herb nuances and a distinctive saline freshness influenced by its coastal proximity. The 2020 vintage was produced entirely from destemmed fruit, with no whole clusters included. Following a brief cold soak, fermentation was carried out with native yeasts, with gentle punch-downs used throughout and no pump-overs employed. After approximately 16 days on skins, the wine was basket pressed and transferred to barrel for malolactic fermentation and ageing. The wine spent 19 months ageing on its lees in 300-litre French oak barrels before being blended and bottled unfined and unfiltered. A further 12 months of bottle ageing prior to release has allowed the wine to gain additional harmony and complexity. Elegant and expressive, the 2020 Lagom Pinot Noir offers an enticing combination of aromatic purity, layered fruit and refined texture. While wonderfully approachable in its youth, it possesses the balance and structure to continue developing gracefully over the next decade and beyond.

2021 Dragonette, Rita’s Crown Vineyard Chardonnay, Sta. Rita Hills 1x75cl

DE97JD95VM97
*Blend: 100% Chardonnay *Vintage production: 330 cases *One of the producers at the forefront of Sta. Rita's Hills' success is Dragonette Cellars. Winemaker Brandon Sparks-Gills, and brothers Steve... and John Dragonette, select the region's elite vineyards to make Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays of utter refinement and distinction. Rita’s Crown vineyard is located at one of the highest points in the Sta. Rita Hills, adjacent to such famous sites as Mt Carmel and Sea Smoke. The soils are a mix of sandy and clay loams with a good amount of diatomaceous earth. Dragonette's Chardonnay comes from two parcels: block 16, (clone 76) lies at 800-950 feet on a steep, west-southwest facing hillside above the monastery, and block 12 (clone 95), a steep south facing hillside just below and to the west. These higher elevation blocks are exposed to fog and clouds most mornings and high winds most afternoons, cooling the vineyard. The climate and the low vigour soils produce a small canopy, small yields and a long, slow growing season. The wines here typically show beautiful, ripe tropical fruit flavours, balanced by remarkable acidity and strong notes of chalky minerals.

The wines from here are intensely fruited but in a leaner frame from the cool location. Wines show red fruits, gentle baking spices, herbs, and marine influenced minerals. California's Finest Wines - Exclusively in the UK

Four Corners Wine Icon

Access to California’s greatest wine estates has always been a challenge for UK buyers. Our producers sit alongside the likes of Screaming Eagle and Harlan Estate as Napa’s most tightly allocated wines. SLOAN Estate, for example, produces less than 1,000 cases a year, with most going directly to mailing list members. Bottles like these rarely reach UK shelves at all.

Four Corners Wine exists to change that.

As the UK’s exclusive importer and retailer for many of California’s most sought-after estates, we hold allocation agreements that place these wines directly in the hands of UK buyers. We release our wines in  partnership with the estates to match their winery release prices, acting as an extension of their ‘mailing-list’. For wines that command significant premiums on the secondary market, this is a meaningful advantage.

Our portfolio spans over sixty estates across California’s defining appellations: the volcanic hillsides of Howell Mountain, the fog-cooled ridges of the Sonoma Coast, the limestone-rich valleys of Paso Robles, and the sun-drenched terrain of Santa Barbara County. Many of the wines we carry are simply unavailable anywhere else in the United Kingdom. Some are unavailable anywhere else in Europe.

What distinguishes us is not only the portfolio, but the way we work. Four Corners is a relationship-led business, built on personal connections with every winery we represent and every client we serve. We are a small, select operation by design. Our clients value the access we provide, the expertise we bring, and the discretion with which we operate.

Whether you are building a collection, seeking a specific vintage, joining us for a winemaker dinner, a private tasting, or considering a guided visit to California wine country, we are here to open the doors that other merchants cannot.

If you are looking to buy California fine wine in the UK, this is where that conversation begins.

Some of the best things in life need a little patience.
Matt Trevisan of Linne Calodo named his Zinfandel blend Problem Child after a batch that fought him every step of the way during fermentation.
The moment he stopped intervening, it turned out brilliantly.
The 2023 vintage carries on that legacy, drawing x Zinfandel vines farmed by the Dusi family in Paso Robles since the 1920s.

Did you know?⠀
⠀
California wine is young in world terms — yet rich in story and significance.⠀
⠀
While wine’s origins stretch back thousands of years, California’s wine story began in the late 18th century, when Franciscan missionaries planted the first vines to produce sacramental wine. From those early Mission vineyards, California went on to build one of the most dynamic wine cultures in the world .⠀
⠀
What followed was a remarkable journey — from pioneering settlers and the Gold Rush, through Prohibition and revival, to California’s defining moment on the world stage at the Judgement of Paris in 1976, when Napa Valley wines famously stood shoulder to shoulder with the great wines of France, 50 years ago this year.⠀
⠀
Today, California wine represents innovation built on tradition: a place where history is short, but ambition, craftsmanship, and identity are deeply rooted.⠀
⠀
Wine here is not just a drink — it is a story of people, place, and progress, poured into every glass.⠀
